About the workshops As a part of its summer program for children, I-Entertainment has organized several theatre workshops for children in 2 cities in North India (Delhi, Gurgaon). During these workshops children undertake various activities of theatre, such as Story telling, Improvisation, Voice Modulation, Speech Clarity, Mask Making, Body Movements and Puppet Making. While children are learning, how to mount a play right from scratch, special attention is given to the fact that children should develop good self- confidence and communication skills.

About I-Entertainment I-Entertainment is a Delhi based company working towards the development of educating children through the means of theatre which was started by Mr. Imran Khan (the Artistic Director, I-Entertainment) in the year 2006. The aim of the company is to work towards the growth of theatre in education, a model now gaining widespread popularity across the world, through working with children of a range of age groups and backgrounds. The company aims at spreading education through the medium of theatre through means such as performances that juxtapose modern issues with traditional forms of presentation, workshops and discussions.

PUPPET LAB FOR TEACHERS!
 
We also offer teacher training programs on using puppets in the classroom

1. Puppets for storytelling and introducing new concepts in the class for nursery and Prep – This workshops  focuses
   on developing content for the classroom using puppets like teaching alphabets, poems, cleanliness or good manners.

2.  Puppets for interactive activities and creating stories to teach specific concepts in science and social studies. These could be as varied as the water cycle to plant life to the history of Ancient India.

Date: June 7 - 13 (7 Days)
Time: 10 am to 2 pm
Venue: The Cambridge Primary School
Fees: Rs 6,000/- per teacher, including materials and tea/refreshments everyday.
Curriculum: Each teacher will create his/her own show which will use shadow and glove puppets. The workshop will include scripting, storyboarding, puppet making and performing.
